An easy workflow for organizing photos into a portable PDF.
Prepare images before combining
Check every photo for rotation, readable text and unnecessary borders. A phone photo of a receipt or form is often much larger than needed; resize it before combining. Keep a copy of the original when the picture contains important details or evidence.
Choose a sensible page layout
For mixed portrait and landscape photos, a page-fit layout works better than forcing every picture to fill the page. A small margin makes files easier to print. Put pages in the intended order before starting, especially for scanned contracts or study notes.
Review the downloaded document
Open the finished PDF and check the first, last and middle pages. Zoom in on small type to ensure it has not become blurry. If the goal is searchable text rather than an image-only document, use an OCR workflow separately: JPG-to-PDF conversion by itself does not recognize text.
