Combine separate PDF documents while keeping them organized.
Decide the correct sequence
Rename your source documents with ordered prefixes such as 01-cover, 02-report and 03-appendix. Review the page orientation and check for blank pages. Merging preserves pages; it will not automatically fix mismatched page numbers.
Keep sensitive files local
Contracts, identification documents and business records may contain information you should not send to an unfamiliar server. A browser-based merge tool can process files in local memory, although the tool library itself may be delivered from a CDN. Avoid sharing the completed PDF through public links.
Verify bookmarks and forms
Simple PDF merges often preserve page appearance but do not guarantee that interactive forms, signatures, annotations or outlines remain meaningful. For legally signed PDFs, verify validity after merging or keep the originals unchanged.
